Chronology of cameras Beauty
Since the first model in 1959, the LightOmatic series has undergone modernization. The selenium cell now surrounds the lens. The glass covering the viewfinder, rangefinder, and collimator has a notched shape, more dynamic than the rectangular shape of the previous version.
It is a well-crafted and robust camera. Thus, the rewinding crank, incorrectly stored as shown in the photo, pressed against the camera due to pressure, causing a dent in the top cover. However, neither the crank nor the cover gave way.
It is a semi-automatic camera. By adjusting the shutter speed and aperture, you need to align a small needle with a mark. This is visible in a small window on the top cover. The bottom of this window allows daylight to pass through, and through a system of mirrors, the needle is visible in the viewfinder.
